Bridport is a small coastal town in the north east of Tasmania.
It is a holiday haven for Tasmanians looking for a quiet place to retreat to in the summer. Go fishing, walking, swimming, and just relaxing and changing the routine for a few days or weeks.

Have you played golf at the Barnbougle Dunes links in Bridport Tasmania yet?
Well if you haven't you should come on and try it out ranked 39th in the world shouldn't put you off! It's top of the list of courses people most want to play.

There is affordable accommodation at Platypus Park Country Retreat which is just on the edge of the town situated on 40 acres with fishing dams a river and is family friendly too. The units and cottages are self catering so you can go into town and get some local seafood and other produce to prepare your own feast. They have and organic vegetable garden so you may be able to pick some fresh produce as well.
